Who can order?
P&G School Programs are for teachers or school employees of public or private schools. Specific programs are designed for specific grades, and we request that schools only order for a single grade, even if they teach in a different grade than we specify. Always® Changing Program is designed for 5th grade girls and boys, and the Crest/Oral-B® Healthy Smiles program is designed for 1st grade. The Puffs and Nutrition programs do not have any components that can be ordered, as they are online only.
Are there any additional samples available for schools over and above the number of students the school has enrolled?
Not at this time. We wish we could provide additional samples to schools but we believe our current system of distribution is generous, and we want to be able to offer our products to as many schools as possible.
Why is the Crest Program only offered to 1st graders?
1st grade is a critical time for children to learn about oral health, as they are losing baby teeth and getting permanent teeth. Sending materials to multiple grades would duplicate our 1st grade efforts.
Can I get more disclosing tablets?
These can be purchased on the Internet.
When should I order for next year?
That's strictly up to you. We recommend you order your school program online no later than August of each year for the upcoming school year. We ship materials while supplies last.
Do schools remain enrolled in the program from year to year?
No. Schools must order new materials every year. This way, we can send the right amount for current enrollments and make sure materials are sent to educators who want them.

Can I receive samples or a preview kit, ASAP?
Although programs change each year, the main elements can be viewed online. We do not ship samples at the time they are requested. Samples will ship at the time that the programs ship for the next scheduled year, and will continue shipping until supplies are depleted (Always Changing ships between September and December).
Can you provide enough samples for more than one grade level?
We wish we could, but in order to make our programs broadly available, we can only provide enough materials for one grade level.
Can you send materials for a special event (e.g., health fair, summer camp, etc.)?
We wish we could help out with these types of requests but since we get so many, we focus on giving at the national level by donating to America's Second Harvest®, a National Food Bank Network. Additionally, these programs are not funded to reach additional audiences other than elementary schools.
Does P&G ship materials to home schools?
Samples are not provided to home schools. All materials can be viewed online.
Can I make a copy of the video?
You may not copy the video due to copyright laws. However, all materials can be viewed online.
Can I have materials sent to my home?
We ship materials to schools only.

Can I place an order for multiple schools?
If you have the PIN# for several schools you may place multiple orders. If you do not have the PIN# you will not be able to place orders via the Web site for multiple schools. Please leave your information on the contact page and we will contact you about how to receive multiple orders without the PIN#'s.
Why did a teacher in my building receive his order and I did not receive mine?
We ship only once to each school; we ask that one teacher per school order for the entire school. When more than one teacher per school orders, we consolidate quantities and the last person who places an order for a school is the name the order is shipped under. Therefore, you should check with the person who received the order because they most likely have the entire school's order.
Are the plaque-disclosing tablets safe to use?
Yes, the plaque-disclosing tablets are safe to use when used as directed. They have been carefully evaluated and found to safely identify plaque when used as directed.
Is the red dye in the plaque-disclosing tablets safe?
Yes, the dye in the plaque-disclosing tablets is safe. The dye in the plaque-disclosing tablets, D&C Red No. 28, has been approved for use in drug and cosmetic products by the FDA.
Is there a potential for allergies to the red dye?
We have no information to suggest any of the ingredients in the plaque-disclosing tablets should cause problems with allergies. However, if a child is known to have allergies to foods or artificial dyes, parents may want to consult their physician before allowing the child to use the product.
Who manufactures the plaque-disclosing tablets?
The plaque-disclosing tablets are produced by Young Dental Manufacturing.

What other ingredients are in the plaque-disclosing tablets?
The other ingredients used in the plaque-disclosing tablets are a flavor approved by the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials, vegetable oil, dextrose and starch.
Do you have a phone number for information about the plaque-disclosing tablets?
If you have safety questions or specific product questions you can call 1-800-492-7378.
Why should I use Crest Pro-Health Rinse?
Crest Pro-Health Rinse contains a clinically proven bactericidal agent, CPC, that's attracted to bacteria in your mouth and effectively kills the bacteria for 12 hours. Crest Pro-Health Rinse provides 12-hour protection against plaque and gingivitis.
Is Crest Pro-Health Rinse safe for children to use?
Yes; while adults and children 6 years and older can use Crest Pro-Health Rinse, we suggest supervision for children 6-12 years old.
